Key terms for Pretix subscriptions: billing cycles, renewals, trials, cancellations, plan changes, and related policies.
By starting a Pretix subscription you authorize recurring charges to your payment method for the plan selected until you cancel. Organizational accounts represent that the accepting individual has authority to bind the organization.
Keep credentials secure and accurate. You are responsible for actions under your account. Role‑based access you configure determines what team members can view or modify. Remove users promptly when access is no longer required.
Plans renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annually). Renewal dates use UTC unless otherwise stated. Update payment details before renewal to avoid interruption.
Invoices are issued electronically and available in your billing portal.
If a free trial applies, charges begin when the trial ends unless you cancel beforehand. Trial data may persist when upgrading; we may delete inactive trial workspaces after a grace period.
Upgrades may generate a prorated immediate charge. Downgrades take effect on the next renewal. Features removed on downgrade become read‑only or hidden; restore by re‑upgrading during the same cycle when possible.
We may adjust pricing with prior notice (email or in‑app). Continued use after new pricing takes effect constitutes acceptance. If you disagree you must cancel before the effective date.
Cancel anytime in the billing portal. Access continues until the current paid term ends. We do not provide mid‑cycle refunds except as described in our Refund Policy.
Prorations apply only for upgrades or certain add‑ons. Downgrades do not typically generate credits unless required by law or explicitly stated in an enterprise agreement.
If payment fails we will retry automatically. We may place the workspace in a grace state with limited features. Prolonged non‑payment may result in suspension and eventual data archival or deletion after notice.
Applicable taxes (e.g., VAT/GST) are added based on your location. Currency conversions and foreign transaction fees are determined by your payment provider.
Plans may include quantitative limits (projects, storage, API calls). Excessive or abusive usage may require an upgrade or may trigger throttling. We’ll notify you with remediation options before enforcement when reasonable.
We target high availability and publish status updates during incidents. Planned maintenance is scheduled to minimize disruption. Credits for extended downtime may be applied per our Refund Policy at our discretion.
Export your data before cancellation. After the term ends we may retain backups for a limited retention window, after which data may be deleted or anonymized. Restoration after deletion is not guaranteed.
Enabling integrations shares necessary data with the provider under your configuration. We are not responsible for third‑party availability or data handling—see our Privacy Policy.
We may modify features, rebrand components, or discontinue modules. For material reductions we will provide notice and options (migration, downgrade, or cancellation).
